Jeffrey M. Jacobson

Dr. Jeffrey Mark Jacobson, 62, of Seminole, passed away Oct. 8, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. Jeffrey was born in Elizabeth, NJ and worked as a clinical psychologist in the St. Petersburg community for over 30 years. He treated many multi-generational families and touched the lives of countless individuals during his career. Jeffrey was also a member of Congregation B'nai Israel in St. Petersburg. He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Rita; daughters Amy (Jeremy) Melker and Dawn (David) Bomstein; sisters Beverly Tsernov and Carol (Irwin) Goodman; grandsons Jacob and Wesley Melker; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Services will be held 1 PM Monday, October 10, 2011 at the David C. Gross Funeral Home in St. Petersburg. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Largo. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeffrey's memory to the Moffitt Cancer Center (moffitt.org). Shiva minyanim will be held on Monday and Tuesday at 6:55 p.m. at the home of Rita Jacobson, 7077 Greenbriar Dr, Seminole. David C.
