Theodore "Tuvyah Ben Alexander" Miller

Dr. Theodore Miller, 88, of Las Vegas, passed away September 29, 2012. Ted was born in Chicago IL to Alex and Rose Miller. He served in the Army and graduated from Northern Illinois College of Optometry. A 16 year resident of Sun City Summerlin, Ted was known to many as the "Mayor of Sun City". He enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening, family, friends and his many "desserts". He was very active in the community serving on many committees, clubs, his congregation, and presided as President of a B'Nai Brith and the Sun City Jewish Friendship Club for many years. His great smile, humor, and easy-going demeanor made him a friend to everyone. He was greatly loved and will be missed by all whose lives he touched. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Zelda, children Reed Miller (Michele Feinstein) and Shelli Miller of Las Vegas, and Dr. Aubrey (Tracey), grandchildren Joelle and Edan Miller of MD, sister Nancy Marcus (Erwin deceased) of IL, and Lorraine and Jay Lucas of CA. A Graveside Service will be at 2:30PM on Wed. Oct. 3rd. at Palm Cemetery, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas. In lieu of shiva, please join us in celebrating his amazing spirit and life at 7PM on Thurs. Oct. 4th at the Lakeside Events Center, 2620 Regatta Drive #102, Las Vegas, 89128.
