Larry Kaplowitz, 84, of Las Vegas, passed away on October 5, 2021. Larry was born November 2, 1936 in New Haven, CT to the late Abraham and Fannie Wells Kaplowitz. Larry is predeceased by his partner of 38 years, Josephine Lichtenstein. Larry is survived by his daughter Michelle Pincus, stepdaughters Anne Schein and Sandra Papigiotis, Grandchildren Michelle Tannetta, Robin Butkovitz and Nicholas Papigiotis, greatgrandaughter Akasha Moore and his beloved dog Trixie. He is also survived by his sister Shirley Calandrella of East Haven, CT. Larry spent most of his career as an auto mechanic, a professional poker player and an auto parts store owner in California. He drove a cab in Las Vegas until his retirement. Upon his retirement he, Josie and Trixie enjoyed traveling thru the Midwest on various road trips. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and belonging to the GPAA (Gold Prospectors Assoc. of America). He was predeceased by his brother Joseph and sister Cedell Spinnato
