Patricia Louise Miller

Patricia L. Miller, 87, of Henderson, NV passed away October 6, 2012. She was the devoted wife of George Miller, loving mother of Patricia C. Haiden, a cherished stepmother to Trish and Mike and a "cool" Grandma to Pete, Paul, Heather & Hilary. She was an "outstanding" Administrative Aide at NRL in Washington D.C. where she met her husband George. In 1980 she retired, married George and they moved to Los Angeles, CA. They spent 6 weeks in 1990 sightseeing most of England and Scotland. In 1992 they bought a retirement home in Scottsdale, AZ. In 1997 a two year contract offer moved them to Saudi Arabia for two years. Extensive travels throughout the Mid & Far east included visiting the pyramids in Giza, a Cruise up the Nile from Aswan Dam to Cairo, weekend getaways in the UAE and Greece and two vacations in Thailand. Upon returning to the States they retired in Henderson, NV. Patricia's warm personality, beautiful smile and loving nature are remembered by all who met her. She loved life, family, friends, football and dancing. She had a natural talent for interior design and a discriminating taste in dress. She was a good woman and damn good company. In lieu of flowers, Patricia would prefer any donations be made to the Nathan Adelson Hospice.
