Carol J. Houston

Mrs. Carol J. Houston, 59 of St. Petersburg passed away June 14, 2010 at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa after a courageous 5 year battle with Lung Cancer. Born in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, she came here in 1991 from Pittsburgh. She was a homemaker. Carol will forever be remembered by her devoted husband Robert, loving sisters Joanne Ciccarelli and Janet John, beloved son Brian Ciccarelli, and treasured grandchildren Ashley Ciccarelli and Evan Ciccarelli, caring in-law Donna Houston, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Jason Ciccarelli and her loving parents James Zika and Silvia Falconer. Carol loved staying connected with her family and friends back in Pittsburgh and spent countless hours on the phone enjoying those conversations. She also loved to shop and model her new clothes to whoever might stop by for a visit. She enjoyed the peacefulness of the beach, and also enjoyed sitting on the back porch to admire the yard & fountain. Not a day went by that she did not keep up with her son Brian. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed baking. She had such a loving heart and touched the lives of many with her kind words. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 11 AM on Friday, June 25, 2010 at Most Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Gulfport. Graveside burial service will be 12:45 PM, following the funeral, in Bay Pines National Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center. David C.
