Josati Devi Maharaj, 64, passed away in Las Vegas, Nevada on Tuesday, June 21st, 2022. Josati was also known as Janet or Muni. Janet was born on December 12th, 1957 in Suva, Fiji to parents Hari & Shila Wati Maharaj. Her siblings are Ramen, Rishi, Freddie, Sashi, Sam, John, Praveena, and Chris. She loved cooking for the entire family and had a huge sense of humor. Janet is survived by: her siblings Sam, John, Praveena and Chris; her child Victoria; and countless nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins. Janet is predeceased by her father Hari Maharaj (9/16/73); Mother Shila Wati Maharaj (9/12/12); her brothers Sashi Maharaj, Ramen Prasad (8/10/07), Rishi Prasad (9/09/14), Freddie Prasad (5/17/20); and her nephew Brandon Maharaj (9/3/20). A service will be held on Saturday, June 25th, 2022 at 9 am at Kraft Sussman Funeral Services. Private reception to follow. om namah shivaya
