June 21st, 1944 - September 14th, 2022
Dr. John Corey Brown, a long-time Las Vegas resident, passed away peacefully at home on September 14, 2022 at the age of 78, surrounded by his wife and children. Corey Brown was born in Montreal, Quebec on June 21, 1944 and moved to Las Vegas in 1974 where he started in Emergency Medicine at Sunrise Hospital. From 1974 up until shortly before his death, Corey selflessly served the Las Vegas community, meeting his patients with kindness, compassion, and comfort during their most vulnerable moments. We will remember Corey for his sweet, gentle disposition, his infinite love for his family and friends, and unwavering commitment to helping those in need. He will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched. Corey is survived by his wife Monica and children, Hannah and Parker.
