Antone John Rodrigues

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Antone (Tony) John Rodrigues on September 19, 2022. Antone was born in Las Vegas, NV on May 15, 1957, to Joseph and Caroline Rodrigues. He graduated from Bishop Gorman High School in 1976 with a full football scholarship to UNLV. Following college, he began a career in the Casino Industry as a craps dealer. Antone worked at several Las Vegas casinos but spent the last three decades of his career at Caesars Palace Las Vegas as a casino floor supervisor. On September 27, 1986, he married his wife, Mary Rodrigues, and started a family. He was known for having a strong work ethic, sarcastic sense of humor, amazing natural athletic ability and great social skills which he imparted on his whole family. Whether it was coaching a youth soccer team, attending a sporting event, playing a card game, or hanging up a ceiling fan, he was always there to support and encourage anyone who needed him. Antone is deeply loved by his children, friends, and family. He was the best and most caring dad, grandfather, husband, son, brother, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mary Lovett Rodrigues, their children, Danielle Rodrigues, AJ and his wife Caitlin Rodrigues, Lillie Rodrigues, and his two grandsons, Charles and Arthur Rodrigues. He is also survived by his siblings Vikki Rodrigues, Danny Rodrigues (Connie), Patti and her husband Allen Puliz, and Tom and his wife Alicia Rodrigues, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Antone John will be celebrated at a ceremony Sunday, September 25th from 11am-2pm at Kraft Sussman Funeral and Cremation Services at 3975 South Durango Drive, Suite 104, Las Vegas, Nevada 89147.
