Richard "Richie" Siegel
June 2nd, 1952 - April 13th, 2010
Richard D. "Richie" Siegel 57 of Clearwater, lost his battle with his disease after ten years of a fierce and spirited struggle. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Richie grew up in Far Rockaway and attended the University of Buffalo. He met Marlene Sachs in 1976 and married in 77. They lived in Manhattan while he started his career in Real Estate Investments. After many years on his own, he joined Marlene's family real estate business in the 90's. They moved to Clearwater with the family in 1989. He was a member of Congregation Beth Shalom. Richie was a family man, avid golfer, world traveler, Yankee fan, wonderful friend. Survivors include wife Marlene, daughters Rebecca of Manhattan and Carly of Tel Aviv, son Alexander of Manhattan, his parents Florence and Seymour Siegel of Delray Beach, Florida, mother and father-in -law Celia and David Sachs of Manhattan, brothers Lon (Lori) Siegel of CLearwater, Gary (Carole) of Potomac, MD many neices and nephews and was Uncle Richie to many Funeral services and burial were in New York on Friday, April 16, 2010. Shiva at the Siegel home in Clearwater Monday-Wednesday night, minyan at 7:30 pm. David C. Gross Funeral Homes is serving the family Service Information
