February 1st, 1948 - May 1st, 2023
Joy D. Soberalski, 75, formerly of Lapeer, MI, passed away Monday, May 1, 2023. She was born February 1, 1948 to the late Calvin and Lela “Dimple” Anderson. Joy worked in the Genessee County Treasurer’s Office in Flint, MI, retiring in 2010. Upon retirement, she moved to Henderson, NV, where she spent her time volunteering at her local library, reading, traveling, shopping, walking her dog Olive and spoiling her grandkids. Joy is survived by her son, Robert “Joe” (Amy) Soberalski; daughter, Elizabeth Soberalski; grandchildren, Luke and Claudia; sisters, Glenda Sue Brown and Bonnie (Jerry) Pabst; brother, James (Marion) Anderson; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Anderson. Memorial services will be Friday, May 26 at 2 PM at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Home, 3975 S Durango Dr, Las Vegas. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alpha-1 Foundation, 3300 Ponce de Leon Blvd. Coral Gables, Florida 33134. (www.alpha1.org) or to your local library.
