Lawrence passed away on Father's Day while at Collier Hospice in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Lawrence joined the Navy straight ouf of High School to serve in the Korean War. Upon his return home he married Marilyn Lerew and they had five children. They eventually settled in Wheat Ridge in the early sixties and remained until both their passings. Lawrence worked his way up from apprentice electrician to Master and soon started Gill Electric. His son Kelly took over once Lawrence retired. Lawrence enjoyed camping, fishing, gambling, refinishing old furniture, tinkering in the garage and rebuilding old cars. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Marilyn, and his son Larry, and grandson Michael He is survived by his brother Jimmy, son Kelly, daughters Kathy (Jim), Karen (Roger) and Sandy (Bob). Also grandchildren Alex, Samantha, Goldie, Maggie, and Natalie. Great-grandchildren Jag, Olive, Easton, Walker, Daniel and Aubree, plus many nephews, nieces and in-laws. Services to be announced at a later date.
