Susan Zwahlen Meier

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Zwahlen Meier, who departed this world on November 4, 2023. Susan bravely faced a courageous battle against cancer. In the face of adversity, Susan demonstrated a profound strength that touched the hearts of everyone who witnessed her journey. She was born on October 13, 1960 in Salt Lake City, UT to parents Samuel Zwahlen and Jo-Anne Gardner. Despite facing life’s challenges, Susan never hesitated to give more than she had. Her acts of kindness were not measured in grand gestures but in the countless small ways she made a difference in the lives of those around her. From sharing a warm smile to extending a helping hand to those in need, she embodied the true essence of generosity. Her legacy is not etched in material possessions but in the hearts of those she touched. Susan leaves behind a tapestry of memories woven with love, empathy and genuine care. She reminds us that true wealth lies in the richness of the relationships we cultivate and the positive impact we have on others. Susan is survived by Terry Meier (Sallie Yaskin), her daughters Kristin Asa (Michael Murphy) and Terese Forst (Dan Forst) and son Ryan Meier; grandchildren Adilynn Asa, Cass & Carter Forst. She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Zwahlen and Jo-Anne Gardner, and her brother Duane Peterson. Funeral services are private.
