William "Bubba" Derrick Walker
September 13th, 1951 - February 15th, 2010
William Derrick "Bubba" Walker 58 of St. Petersburg passed away February 15, 2010. Born in Tifton Georgia, Bubba came here in 2001 from Jacksonville FL. and worked as a sales representative of medical equipment. He was a member of Pasadena Community Church where he served as board chairman. He was a former Mason. Bubba was a "larger than life" figure who was never without a story to tell and was an avid NASCAR fan and fishing fanatic. Survivors include his beloved wife Gloria Knight Walker, daughter Krysta (Eric) Martin; brother Matt Davidson; step-sons Larry Knight and Scott (Tammie) Knight; grandchildren Laci and Ryan Knight, and was eagerly awaiting the birth of grandson Spencer Gray Martin in March. He is also survived by best friends Tommy Blankenship, Bud Ogden and Henry Tyler. Visitation will be from 5-7PM Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at David C. Gross Funeral Home in St. Petersburg. Funeral services will be 11AM Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Pasadena Community Church (Main Church), 112 70th Street South, St. Petersburg. Burial will be in Tifton, GA. The family suggests memorials to Pasadena Community Church Trustee Maintenance Building Fund, or the church food pantry. David C. Gross Funeral Home is serving the family. Service Information
