Jane Ann Sachs, 73, a 14 year resident of Las Vegas, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013. Jane was born February 4, 1940 in Maine to the late Arthur and the late Gertrude Giroux. She worked as a registered nurse. Jane was a member of Temple Bet Knesset Bamidbar. Jane is survived by her husband Herbert Sachs; children Steven Arata and Kenneth (Amanda) Arata; 3 grandchildren; stepchildren Cheryl (Michael) Helfer, Suzan (Michael) Waks and Eric (Linda) Sachs; and 9 step-grandchildren. A funeral will be held at the New Montefiore Cemetery in Pinelawn NY on Friday, May 10, 2013. Contributions in Jane's memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
