Matthew "Matisyahu Ben David" Julian Weiss

On January 6, 2010, heaven's angel-bowl needed to be filled; they called for Matt to fill that space. Matt was a much loved man by his family and friends. He always had a smile (a great smile), and was always willing to listen, and give advice. He knew what to say and how to say it, with the goal to prove to everyone that there was a positive side to life. Residing in Las Vegas since 1985, Matt was born in Pittsburgh, PA. Matt was employed at Fremont Hotel and Casino, in their slots department, where he met and married Monica (Tyree) Weiss, of Roanoke, VA, on May 20, 2007. They have no children, but shared their love with their dog, Palin, and their cats, Prince and Rykyshy. Predeceased by his mother, Dolores M. Weiss, Matt is survived by his wife, Monica Weiss; father, Julius (Panee) Weiss, of West Palm Beach, Florida; sister, Julia Toti, of Las Vegas, NV; nephew, Seth Weiss, of Roseville, California and his niece, Annie Toti, of Las Vegas, NV. Matt had a very special place in his heart for his family. He loved you all!!! A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, Jan.8, 2010, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 West Lone Mountain Road. A memorial service will be held at a later date, with special thanks to Anthony Toti.
