Archalous Danielian

Archalous Danielian, 78, a 20 year resident of Las Vegas, passed away December 27, 2013. Archalous was born March 24, 1935 in Beirut Lebanon to the late Louder and Nazelli Arakelian. She immigrated to Waukegan IL at 36, where she married and had a son. They then moved to Michigan and eventually retired to Las Vegas. Archalous was full of laughter and love for her family and community, and was extremely passionate and dedicated to her Armenian heritage. Archalous was a seamstress. She was active in her church and a 30 year member of the Armenian Relief Society. Archalous is survived by her son, Alexander Dro (Emma) Danielian; granddaughter Alyna Shoushig Danielian of Las Vegas; and siblings Mary (Garbis) Gokcekian of Las Vegas, Korken (Sarah) Arakelian of Plymouth MI, Angele (Megerdich) Manoogian of Boca Raton FL and Lucia Arakelian of Las Vegas. She is predeceased by her husband Alexander, a WWII veteran. A visitation will take place at 11AM on Monday, Dec. 30, followed by a funeral service at noon, both at the St Garabed Armenian Apostolic Church, 2054 E. Desert Inn Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89169. Burial will followed at Bunker's Memory Gardens Cemetery.
