Walter "Volvo Ben" Bernard Davis
February 2nd, 1926 - March 28th, 2014
Walter Bernard Davis, 88, of Henderson, passed away Friday, March 28, 2014. Walter was born February 2, 1926 in New York NY to the late Hector Edgar and the late Annie (Kendal) Davis. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II as a tail gunner. Walter had a career in sales. He loved to watch football and the stock market, and enjoyed playing scrabble and singing. Walter is survived by his daughters Cindy Miropol of Aventura FL, Melissa Blake of Las Vegas and Wendy Miropol Benoist of Los Angeles; and sisters Marie Kahn and Bernice Wood. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, Suite 104, Las Vegas, 89147, followed by burial at Bunkers Memory Gardens Cemetery. Contributions in Walter's memory may be made to Chabad of Green Valley.
