Doris Rhoda Marmer, 93, of Las Vegas, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014. Doris was born January 21, 1921 in New York NY, the youngest daughter of the late Isadore and the late Ida (Schonfield) Wolff. Doris worked as an office clerk. A wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Doris enjoyed countless hours of sharing stories, cooking, eating, shopping and shlepping with her family. She loved to cook and always had food on hand for at least 10 people. Doris is survived by her loving family including her two sons Ronnie and Jerry, two daughter in laws Nanci and Fran; grandchildren, Keith, Jodi, Craig, Allison, Vivian, Amanda, Pete and Chris; great grandchildren, Zack, Evan, Ben, Zoe, Tabbi, Piper and Eloise. She is predeceased by her husband Harry Marmer, siblings Mildred and Zola. A graveside service will be held at noon on Thursday, April 17 at Bunkers Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road, Las Vegas, NV.
