Donald Howard Slack 87, November 5, 1926 to September 19,2014. Don attended Kilmer Grade School and Sullivan High School in Chicago, Michigan State University for his bachelor degree and the University Of Chicago executive program for his masters in Business Administration. His military service included serving in World War II, he also served as a Captain in Korea during the Korean War. Don manufactured corrugated shipping containers and held several patents for design. He also manufactured point of purchase silk screen displays and was an active member of POPAI, the point of purchase advertising institute for many years. He is survived by his loving wife Carole (nee Soren), his children, Debbie Karlin, Richard and Laura Slack, Jeffrey and Margaret Slack, as well as his beloved grandchildren, James, David, John, Jonathan, Kevin, Jennifer, and Ken. A funeral service to be held Tuesday September 23, 2014, 9:00 a.m. at Kraft Sussman, 3975 S. Durango Dr., Suite 104, Las Vegas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Autism Speaks.
