Scott Russel Schreiber, age 48, of Las Vegas died Saturday, April 10, 2010. Scott was born February 1, 1962 in Brooklyn, NY and later moved to Phoenix, AZ with his family. He earned his JD from Southern Illinois University. He practiced law in Las Vegas, after moving here with his wife, Lee. Scott was an active member of the Las Vegas Jewish community. He was a participant in the Jewish Federation's Young Leadership Program and served on the Board of Congregation Ner Tamid and Temple Sinai. He also served as President of Adat Ari El. Scott is survived by his wife, Lee Schreiber and daughters Melinda and Beverly Schreiber, all of Las Vegas; his parents Ivan and Helene Schreiber of Phoenix, AZ and his sister Melanie Reiter, of Phoenix, AZ. A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm on Sunday, April 11 at Palm Mortuary & Cemetery, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV with Rabbi Malcolm Cohen officiating. Contributions in Scott's memory may be made to Temple Sinai, 9001 Hillpointe Road Las Vegas, NV 89134-6097, (702) 254-5110. The family will be sitting shiva after services, and from 4-8 PM on Monday through Thursday.
