On February 16th, 2018, Cedar Hames left for an extended vacation to Paradise. Cedar’s creative genius and professional integrity won the admiration of countless employees and clients, and innumerable awards. An artist, designer, collector, boxer, and world traveler, his diversity enriched us. His graciousness refined us. His style, wit, and boyish grin charmed us. We will miss his silent chuckle and his awe of life. Those who knew and respected him are invited to join his sister, three daughters, five grandchildren and friends in the Grand Ballroom of the Mahaffey Theater on Friday, May 18th from 5 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to stpeteartsalliance.org or humanesocietyofpinellas.org. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Central Avenue Chapel in St. Petersburg is serving the family.
