Milford Ralph Ratzlaff
March 18th, 1951 - October 9th, 2019
Milford Ralph Ratzlaff has passed away on Wednesday, October 9th after a long battle against Follicular Lymphoma incurred in Viet Nam in 1970 from exposure to Agent Orange. He studied Architectural Engineering at Boulder Colorado after moving there from Scott City Kansas. He was a very talented General Contractor, Managed several Bars and Restaurants and eventually became a Lay Preacher. He preformed both wedding ceremonies for his two sons, Zach and Shawn Ratzlaff and also to remarry his only wife, Kathern Ratzlaff. His Ministry, "Bride of Yeshuah" led him to many homeless people on the streets and under bridges that were hungry for food and prayer. He worked with COMPA food Ministries and delivered lots of food to 125 Churches in Colorado and New Mexico. He preached as he traveled and spoke on several "TBN" TV broadcasts, "Cowboys for Christ" and did work for Hal Lindsey. He loved his Savior Jesus Christ and shared his heart to lead many to "Yeshuah". His unyielding Faith, Hope and Charity in God and thru his endeavors carried him thru the hard times. He had determination, and never gave up in Faith to the end. Milford was a man that Dreamed big dreams and had incredible beautiful vision. His favorite was he and his Wife living together in the spectacular mountains of Pagosa Springs, Colorado. He fished each time like it was the first time, with child like hope, anticipation, joy and freedom. Milford Ralph Ratzlaff, 68, was born to Elsie and Herman Ratzlaff, March 18, 1951 in Scott City, KS. He passed away October 9, 2019 at Clear Creek Nursing Home, Westminister, CO “Ralph” is survived by his wife, Kathern Puyear Ratzlaff, Denver Colorado, 2 sons - Zach (Lee Ann) Ratzlaff, Albuquerque, NM; and Shawn (Sara) Ratzlaff, Denver, CO., seven grandchildren: Eliska, Brodie, Emma, Zephran, Lexianna, Malichai, and Canute. Brothers, Virgil Ratzlaff and Galen Ratzlaff, Scott City Garry Ratzlaff, Hesston, KS Del Ratzlaff, Grove, OK Lenny Ratzlaff, Tulsa, OK Mike Ratzlaff, London, AR Sisters Virginia (Errol) Koehn, Montezuma, Ks and Glenda Ryan, Newton, KS One brother-in-law, Manford Koehn, Ft Dodge, KS and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, one sister and two nephews. He loved to sing, and cook special meals.
