David Allen Haldaman
June 27th, 1941 - January 15th, 2020
David Allen Haldaman, 78, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2020, in Denver, CO. David is survived by his wife, Barbara Haldaman, of Denver; his 3 daughters, Karen Haldaman (Mark), of Westminster, Gail Corcilius of Arvada, CO, Julie Haldaman of Arvada, CO; granddaughter, Tara Corcilius, of Arvada, CO, his brother, Albert G. Haldaman, and family, of Greentown, PA, Lynn Haldaman of Woodstock, GA, and nephew Cort Haldaman, of Mesa, AZ in addition to other extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert G. and Thelma E. Haldaman, of Allentown, PA; and his brother, James D.Haldaman, of Allentown, PA. David was born on June 27, 1941 in, Bethlehem, PA, to parents Albert and Thelma. He graduated from Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture in 1963 with a degree in Agronomy. Over the span of his life, he spent many hours on the turf farm, worked in the landscaping and grounds maintenance industry, which then lead him to facilities director positions as Stenger soccer complex in Arvada, CO, and Lake Washington Youth Soccer Association, in Redmond, WA, returning to Denver, CO in 2014 to retire. David was a great family man and a loving father. He married Barbara Daniel in 1962 and the couple had 3 children together. David was a social, active man who was deeply involved in the Tri-City Elks Lodge, and enjoyed mentoring young adults in his field. His family and friends will always remember him as a witty, hardworking man with an adventurous spirit. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Broomfield United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Seniors’ Resource Center, srcaging.org/donate, in honor of David A. Haldaman.
