Samuel Emory Montgomery, 94, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 27, 2009. He was born on June 4, 1914 in New Jersey. Sam spent 35 years in the Military Reserves as a C.W.O. 4th Class. He served in WWII and received many military honors and medals. He worked for J & L Steel for 30 years. Sam is survived by his loving wife, Irma, of 30 years; sons, Cary of PA, David of OH, Steve Hadden of FL, Tom Hadden of PA, Bruce Hadden of PA, Glenn Hadden of PA, Harry Hadden of FL. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, April 2, 2009 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm at King’s Funeral Home, 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park, PA. Sam will be buried at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in PA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Disabled American Veterans, 2265 N Harbor City Blvd., Melbourne, FL 32935.
