Robert Benyon

MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Robert Howard Benyon, USAF (Ret.), 74, died on Sunday, August 30th, 2009 at Wuesthoff Hospice Care Center in Rockledge. Robert was born in Trenton, NJ and resided for 30 years in Merritt Island, FL. Son of the late Carl William Benyon and Hazel Minerva (Anderson) Benyon, he is survived by his loving wife, Kim Thanh Benyon; his son and daughter-in-law Kenneth and Amanda Benyon of Cocoa, Florida; his sons’ Lawrence Benyon of Bordentown, NJ and Robert Benyon of Florence, NJ; his daughter Susan Benyon, of Bordentown, NJ; and his daughter and son-in-law Judith and Samuel Sager of Bordentown, NJ. Robert is survived by his brother and sister in-law Carl and Betty Benyon, Jr. of Palm Coast, FL and his sister Eleanor Lavin of Ewing, NJ. Also surviving are his 11 grandchildren: Natalie and Hannah Benyon of Cocoa, FL; Miranda Benyon of Bordentown, NJ; Heather (Benyon) Walsh of Sewell, NJ; Gregory, Mitchell, Catherine, and Eric Benyon of Hamilton, NJ; and Stephanie, Paul, and Mathew Sager of Bordentown, NJ. Robert is survived by 3 Great-Grandchildren Daniel and Conor Walsh of Sewell, NJ and Christopher Borges of Bordentown, NJ. Robert was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Benyon, A celebration of Robert’s life will be held at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Cocoa Beach on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at 10AM.
