Robert ""Bob"" Connors, 84, a retired navy veteran, passed away peacefully among family at his home in Cocoa Beach on Thursday, February 11. Bob was born in Niagara Falls, N.Y. and found his way to Cocoa Beach in 1966 when he was stationed by the navy on the observation island(a missle tracking ship) in Cape Canaveral. After retiring from the Navy Bob ran Connors' Roofing and Repair. He finished his working career putting in 17 years at Publix Supermarket in Cocoa Beach. Mr. Connors was a member of Our Savior's Catholic Church in Cocoa Beach where he served as an usher and a volunteer for Adoration. He served as a Grande Knight with the Knights of Columbus and was also a member of the Polish National Alliance (P.N.A.). Bob is survived by his wife Irene,84, Step-son John, Grandchildren Justin, Lindsay, and Jordan , Great-Granddaughters Ava and Emma and his loving dogs Duke and Coco. There will be a Mass of Christian burial on Wednesday, February 17 at 1pm at Our Savior's Catholic Church in Cocoa Beach.
