Marie-Therese ”Terrie” Ramey, 56, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Cape Canaveral Hospital. Terrie was born in Coral Gables and had lived in Cocoa Beach for the past seven years. She attended University High School in Urbana, IL Bearden H.S., Knoxville, TN, and graduated from the University of Tennessee. Terrie was a voracious reader and was past treasurer of the Atlantique Condominium Assn. Terrie is survived by her husband, Darryl Ramey of Cocoa Beach; step-children, Jason Ramey, his wife, Courtney and their daughter, Chloe, all of West Palm Beach and Everett Ramey of Miami; father, Paul Barrette, PhD of Knoxville, TN; step-mother, Susan Martin, PhD of Knoxville, TN; and a sister, Cecile Spiegel of Jacksonville; brother-in-law Jay Spiegel; and nieces Allison and Lauren Spiegel. She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Stevens. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am Friday, February 19, 2010 at Church of Our Saviour Catholic Church in Cocoa Beach. There will be a reception following the Mass at Milliken’s Reef starting at noon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1260 US Highway 1 Suite 201, Rockledge, FL 32955.
