Leah Rae Kaeser
July 17th, 1967 - January 25th, 2021
Leah Rae Kaeser was born on July 17, 1967, in Denver, CO, and went home to be with the Lord on January 25, 2021. Leah graduated from Englewood High School in 1985. She then attended Parks Junior College and received her Associates Degree in Accounting. She spent many years working with her friend Shannon at Northwest Professional Color Photo Lab. Then she went on to work as an accountant at Panorama Coaches. She also worked as a waitress at several local restaurants. Leah and Bob welcomed Jakob on May 10 of 1994; then Leah and Bob were married on November 26, 1994 and lived in Denver. Losing her dad (Pa) on August 27, 1999, took a toll on Leah that never ended. After Jake was born, Leah became a stay-at-home mom which brought much joy to her - enjoying volunteering at Jakob’s school, watching Jake’s football games, and joining her mom, sisters, and cousins for a day at Belleview Park. Leah, Bob, and Jake enjoyed being with family camping and other outdoor adventures. No summer was complete without camping with family and friends at Cherry Creek. Every summer also included a trip to Grand Lake with a stay at CJ Fanning cabin. Other activities included road trips to Colorado mountain towns and the Renaissance Festival. One of her favorite past-times was hosting parties with friends and listening to her friend’s band Gold Smith. Family birthdays and holiday gatherings were always a highlight. Her favorite shopping experience was to every local dollar store. Leah also had a passion for taking in stray cats and an occasional raccoon. Leah was thrilled when grandsons Jaymz and Devyn came along. Every Saturday found the boys at Bob and Leah’s just hangin and having a great time. The boys never left without oodles of snacks. A recent highlight was when Bob and Jake got her a white SUV with all-wheel drive and AC. (quite an upgrade from her little purple Geo}. Bob said that Leah could never get a grip on his many Harley projects, including rebuilding one in the house - he also admitted that he used the dishwasher to clean his Harley parts. And he wondered why she was so pissed off! Leah will be lovingly remembered by her husband Bob, son Jake: step-son Bobby, step-daughter Alicia, grandson’s Jaymz and Devyn; and sister’s-inlaw Donna and Roxanne. Also, Leah will be missed by her mom, Jeanne; sisters, Tammy (Chris- “Lil”) and Lindsay; nieces Tara (Glenn-“G”) and Jessica, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
