All-States Cremation - Westminster
Kathleen (Kay) Dee Whittum Tillitz
September 1st, 1963 - March 26th, 2021
Kathleen D. Tillitz Kathleen (Kay) Dee Whittum Tillitz went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on March 26 at age 57. Kathleen was born to Rev. David and Ione Whittum on September 1, 1963 in Bellaire, Mi. She excelled in art in High School, and later in professional cake decorating. Kathleen and her husband, Kevin had known each other since birth. They married on June 27, 2015 upon reconnecting after many years. She was a beloved member of Family Worship Center, Centennial, Co. and respected team member at the East Hampden Ave. Chick-fil-A, Denver, Co. Kathleen had an amazing smile and positive personality, a servant’s heart, and always saw the best in everyone. She was so patient and loved everyone without any judgement or hate in her heart. If you wronged her she was quick to forgive holding no grudges. To see her angry was rare and honestly, a little comical. She was devoted to her husband and children and put their needs above her own. She loved Jesus with all her heart and her faith was a priority, rarely missing church. She loved Christian music, especially Praise and Worship. She prayed daily for her family and especially for the unsaved that they would come to know Jesus as their Saviour. She would always say with her kids at bedtime as they were growing up, “I love you, sweet dreams, angels around your bedpost, see you in the morning.” Kathleen joins her parents, Rev. David and Ione Whittum, brothers David Lee and Kevin David Whittum, and sister Carolyn Marie Whittum in Heaven. She is survived by her husband, Kevin of Denver, Co, her children Erica Anderson of Grand Rapids, Mi., Charleen (Kevin) Moomey of West Olive, Mi., Kevin Anderson of Holland, Mi., Candyce (Phillip) Bowland of Aurora, Co., Christen (Matt) Pierce of Denver, Co., Cara Tillitz of Denver, Co., Kevin (Stephanie) Tillitz of Denver, Co., and Daniel Tillitz of Parker, Co., sister Barbara (Don) Peterson of Zellwood, Fla., sister Donalyn Whittum of Wyoming, Mi., foster brother, Raymond Richards of Wyoming, Mi., and 11 grandchildren Ellie Mae, Jack, Jocelyn, Jonathan, Jane, Timmy, David, Andrew, King, Prince, and Olivia. A Memorial Service will be held at Family Worship Center, Centennial, Co. on April 24, 2021 at 2pm MST. At that same time (4pm EST) family and friends will gather at Rivertown Assembly of God, Grandville, Mi. to view a livestream of the service in Colorado.
