Laurie W. Hunt, 87, born in Toronto, Canada, spent many years in Montreal, Canada, as VP of Sales for Railtech Inc. Laurie married Mary Bolger, a Cocoa Beach resident in 1986 and the couple returned to live in Montreal, Canada. In 1997, Laurie and beloved wife, Mary, returned to Cocoa Beach to enjoy the climate and community. Laurie was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend to all he knew. Friends and family will remember that twinkle in his eyes and quick wit. He will be sorely missed. Survived by his three daughters - Susan Hunt, Deborah Glover and Janice Niedan along with grandchildren Reagan and Jason Niedan. Also stepchildren ¬Ann Marie Reardon, Barbara Berte, Stephen Berte, Nancy Berte, Mark Berte and Maryann Berte along with step-grandchildren Christopher Reardon, Dr. Claire Foley, Kathleen Young, Jeffrey and Stephanie Oxenford, Breena and Jocelyn Berte, Raiden and Nika Hasegawa. Calling hours will be from 2 until 5pm Friday, June 4, 2010 at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Cocoa Beach. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Church of Our Saviour Catholic Church In Cocoa Beach.
