Kenneth Steven Roberts

Kenneth S. Roberts, of Golden, CO, passed away on May 2, 2021, after a 2 1/2 year battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 61 years old. He was survived by his mother Shirley, brothers Bill and Jerry; sister June (Mark), nephews Ian (Sara) Tony and Patrick; niece Tarrah (Brian); great nephews Dominic, Anthony, Lucus, Jacob, Kyler and Camden; great nieces Anessa, Mariah, Summer and Brielle. He was proceeded in death by his brother Scott and sister-in-law Peggy. Ken worked at Coors Tek for 37 years. He retired at age 55. Ken enjoyed the outdoors. He and his dog (Marley) use to walk five miles a day. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, biking, running, lifting weights and going to concerts. One of Ken’s last wishes was to own a corvette. Mark and June made that happen in one day. Ken was able to drive his corvette five times. He would also spend time sitting in it in the garage or staring at it out the kitchen door. He told all his nurses and doctors about his corvette, always with a huge smile. He was always saying “ I love that corvette”. A Celebration of Life will be held at Ciancio’s, 9650 Sheridan Blvd., Westminster on June 5th from 11am to 2pm. Ciancio's is located at Hyland Hills Golf Course.
