Biography Russ Berry, 84, passed away, Monday, May 2nd at home with his loved ones at his side. A native of Virginia, he was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II. He moved to Brevard County in 1969 where he was central Florida service manager for Sears. Russ was a member of the Merritt Island Masonic Lodge #353, the Azan Shrine, R.O.J.Melbourne Court#188, and VFW Rocket Post #4534. He is survived by his loving companion of 25 years, Shirley and her family, two nephews, Bill and Gary, and a niece, Susan. A Memorial Service will be held 2 P.M. Saturday, May 7th at the Central Brevard Shrine Club, 1243 Lake Drive in Cocoa. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Russ’s memory to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital c/o the Azan Temple or to the homeless veterans, c/o the VFW Rocket Post #4534.
