Vern W. Bueche, 85, passed away Friday, September 2, 2011 at Cape Canaveral Hospital. He was born in Ferndale, Michigan. He lived the Detroit area for sixty-seven years and had lived in Cocoa Beach since 1993. He was a veteran of World War II in the U. S. Naval Air Corp. Vern was a retired landscape architect who owned his own business, Laverne Bueche Landscaping, for many years in Troy, Michigan. He was a member of Church of Our Saviour Catholic Church and he was the head of the church’s bereavement ministry and many other ministries within the church and the community. Vern is survived by his wife, Laura Bueche; children, Lawrence (Rhonda) Bueche, Kurt (Robin) Bueche, Lynn (Michael) Tompkins and Kathleen (David) Dowling; step-children, Michael Wright, Laura Gay and Kenneth Wright; brother Clarence (Carolyn) Bueche and George Bueche ; sister, Rosetta (Ray) Culberson; eleven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Church of Our Saviour Catholic Church in Cocoa Beach. In lieu of flowers donations can be made Church of Our Saviour Catholic Church or to Meals on Wheels.
