James J. Peppard Jr. 69 of Clearwater passed away August 26, 2017. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from 6-8PM at David C. Gross Funeral Home, 830 N. Belcher Rd., Clearwater. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10AM Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at St. Brendan Catholic Church, 245 Dory Passage, Clearwater. A reception will follow in the parish hall. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Suncoast Hospice Foundation, (suncoasthospicefoundation.org) 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater. James worked for over 17 years in many capacities including as news director for WTSP -TV, Channel 10. Survivors include his sister Patricia Peppard Campbell of Seal Beach CA and Irene Peppard Daniels of Elmsford NY; nieces and nephews Donald Campbell Jr. of Katy TX, Nancy Byrne of Huntington Beach CA., Wendy Campbell of Lawndale CA., and Brent Daniels of Valhalla NY, one grand-niece and four grand-nephews.
