LEON P BARNETT Cocoa Leon P Barnett (Lee), Retired USAF Major, 87, said goodbye to his loved ones and friends on Sept 02, 2011. Born July 13, 1924 in Carrollton, MI. He had a career as a meteorologist, engineer, teacher, dancer, golfer, father and friend. He was a veteran of three wars , WWII, Korea, and Vietnam , yet so greatly loved peace. He was a member of the PAFB Tides Club. M.I. Moose Lodge, and American Legion. He is survived by his beloved Sue, children Tony Barnett and wife Carol , Paul Barnett and wife Lori ,Nancy Logan , William Cody , Ron Cody and wife Ellen. He has 5 grandchildren Brittany, Jenna and Zachary Barnett, Stephen Logan, and Pierce Cody. A celebration of his life will be on Tuesday, Sept 06, 2011 at 3 PM, visitation 1 to 3 PM at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home Chapel, Viera.
