Francis Ambrosio

Francis J. Ambrosio, 85, went home to the Lord on Saturday, October 29, 2011. He was born in Brooklyn, NY July 18, 1926. Francis graduated from Brooklyn Polytech in 1945 at the age of 19 with a degree in civil engineering and was a member of Alpha Phi delta Fraternity. He designed 333 by the Sea, formerly the Apollo building in Cocoa Beach. He retired to Florida in 1981. Francis is survived by his wife, Anne; daughter, Patricia; grandsons, Francis, Gregory and Stephen; great-grandchildren, Francis and Auna; sisters, Gloria, Joan and Loretta; brothers-in-law, Brent and Jack. A viewing will be held at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home, 101 N. Brevard Ave., Cocoa Beach, FL 32931 Monday, October 31st and Tuesday, November 1st from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Wednesday, November 2nd at Church of Our Saviour Catholic Church. Francis will be laid to rest at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Clearwater, FL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Church of Our Saviour Catholic Church, 5301 N. Atlantic Ave., Cocoa Beach, FL 32931.
