Rose Luski age 89 of Charlotte, North Carolina and St. Pete Beach, Florida passed away on September 15, 2016 at her home in Charlotte surrounded by her devoted family. Rose was born on June 12, 1927 in Havana, Cuba, the daughter of Esther and Moses Sandberg. She will be remembered as a kind, gentle and loyal wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Rose is survived by her husband of 68 years, Abraham Luski and her three children: Rabbi Jacob (Joanne), Berta and David (Cathi), as well as 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sister, Eva Hyman. Services were held at Temple Israel in Charlotte, NC. Memorial donations would be appreciated to Congregation B’nai Israel of St. Petersburg or Israel Sports Center for the Disabled. Service Information
