James Eugene Wilson passed away June 21, 2016, in Redington Beach, FL. He was born in Birmingham, AL on Sept. 25, 1946, to Jack Preston Wilson and Elizabeth Johnson Wilson. Jim graduated from Banks High School in Birmingham and attended Jacksonville State University. His career was primarily in the film and video production and direction areas, specializing in outdoor sports including hunting, fishing, boating and golf. He traveled extensively in Germany and Ireland as well as to most every state in the U.S. He is survived by his incredible wife of six years, Jan Stotts Adams-Wilson of Redington Beach, FL; his son Michael (Julia) of Birmingham, AL; his daughter Erin Shirley (Joe) of Smith Lake, AL and grandson Connor; and his son Jeffrey (Fabiola) of Dublin, Ireland, and granddaughter Vera. Jim is also survived by his brother, Larry Wayne Wilson, of Seminole, FL. A private memorial service will be planned. Please make a donation in his name to Suncoast Hospice who made his last days comfortable, or to the SPCA. Jim was well respected for his culinary capabilities, his sense of humor, wit, and genuine love for his relatives and friends around the world. David C.
