Biography William Bradley Switzer Viera William Bradley Switzer, 73, passed away August 15, 2012. Born in Canton, Ohio on April 1, 1939, Brad was a retired U.S. Army Reserve Lt. Colonel of 30 years and an energetic and enthusiastic teacher and coach in Lexington, KY and Broward County, FL schools. He belonged and was a choir member of Suntree United Methodist Church. A resident of Indian River Colony Club in Viera, he was actively involved in the IRCC community and served on the Board of Directors. Brad was preceded in death by his parents J.F. and Wilma (Billie) Switzer. Brad is survived by his wife of 48 years, Donna Wilson Switzer, and their children Glenn Switzer and his wife Amy of Carlisle, KY; Donna Lynn and her husband John Stewart of Deerfield Beach, FL; grandchildren Wilson Switzer, Brady Switzer, Katie Switzer, and J.B Stewart; and brother David Switzer and his wife Kay of Lexington, KY. A memorial service is scheduled at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home, Viera, on Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. A reception will be held at Indian River Colony Club after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brad’s name to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Center, Cincinnati, Ohio; www.cincinnatichildrens.org.
