Randall "Randy" Sidney McDonald

Randy S. McDonald Randall Sidney McDonald, 89, of Littleton, Colorado passed away on January 19, 2023, in his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on April 6, 1933 to George and Marcia McDonald in Los Angeles, California. As a teenager, Randy met his life partner Juanita Evans. They married on January 15, 1951 and spent 57 years together, living in both California and in Colorado. He is greatly missed by his son and his daughter-in-law, Michael and Cibelle, his 4 grandkids and their spouses, Misty, Michelle & Matthew, Janet and Chase, and Mikey, as well as his 4 great grandkids, Kai, Christian, Jaq, and Hezekiah. Randy was extremely generous and felt a large sense of love and duty to his family. His kindness extended to children all over the world through his almost 30 year long sponsorships and donations. He was a private and reserved man, but absolutely witty with a wicked and mischievous sense of humor. For most of his life, he was known for having bright red hair (a trait that gave him the name Red Baron), crooked bottom teeth, and a dimple in his chin, something he would tell kids a bee sting gave him, all of which added to his charm. He was very strong-willed and stubborn, which undoubtedly had a huge effect on his hard work ethic and helped him deal with the challenges he faced throughout his life. He was a huge advocate of taking care of yourself by letting good in, especially when it came to vitamins, something he would gift to family members when he would visit them at times. Things he enjoyed the almost 90 years he had on earth were the company of his family and pets, naps in the shade of his backyard, sunshine, despite the sun burns, and a good laugh. Randy was someone who fought hard through many difficult situations, including the hardship of accepting death, which he did head on and fearlessly. It was his hope to have his ashes spread in his final home state of Colorado while the leaves changed colors in a place he loved. “And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count.
