Melanie Slack

Live video feed of service will start around 1 PM Tuesday. Melanie Murray Slack of Palm Bay age 40 passed away suddenly to join our Heavenly Father on 2/06/13. Melanie was born 9/14/72 in West Palm Beach. She is survived by her loving husband of 14 years Joseph P. Slack, a son, John Cooper of Palm Bay, and a grandson Jacob Cooper of Ohio. She is also survived by her mother, Barbara Masse of North Carolina, and mother in law Donna J. Slack of Suntree. She is predeceased by her father, Robert Murray, grandfather Bobby Compton, grandmother Mary Lee Compton, and James G. Slack, father in law. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. A graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University, Melanie was working on her thesis and had one semester to earn her Masters Degree from the University of Illinois. Melanie's love for all animals inspired her to be an active volunteer with the Brevard County Coastal Poodle Rescue which she endeavored to find homes and fund raise for animals. Melanie enjoyed camping with friends, spending time with her dogs and cats, and family geneology were her interests. A loving heart and sense of humor were her best attributes and she shared them with all who knew her. Family and friends are invited to join us to celebrate her life at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home(5400 Village Drive Viera, FL 955 321-635-1973) on Tuesday, 2/12/13 at 1 pm.
