December 18th, 1925 - August 14th, 2015
Walter Popick, 89, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away August 14, 2015. Walter was born in the Bronx, New York, December 15, 1925. He was married to Marilyn (Tepper) Popick. Walter was survived by his wife of 49 years and two daughters. Elyse (Popick) Raissen (Michael), of Scottsdale, Arizona and Faith (Popick) Rosenblum (Michael) of Las Vegas, Nevada, and four Grandchildren, Chloe Raissen, Gabbey Raissen, Ally Raissen, and Emma Rosenblum. Walter was a loving, kind hearted, caring man who adored his wife, daughters and grandchildren. He was also a 3 tour Navy Veteran of WWII in the Pacific theater. Upon his return from the war, he started and built a successful dry cleaning business with his father in law in Southern California. Walter continued to be active throughout his life and worked until very recently. Funeral service will be held at 9:20am, Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at the Southern Nevada Cemetery, Boulder City, Nevada.
