Robert James Manney
April 13th, 1934 - April 30th, 2016
Robert J Manney, 82, a 23 year resident of Las Vegas, died Saturday, April 30, 2016. Robert was born April 13, 1934 in Hibbing, MN to the late Homer and the late Bernal (Kermode) Manney. An entrepreneur, Robert owned many businesses, including the Manney's Shopper. He was an avid golfer and loved spending time with his family. Robert was Chairman of the Senior Golf Club and on the Board of Governors at Canyon Gate Country Club. He is survived by his wife Barbara Manney; children Linda, Teresa, Douglas, Roberta and Taylor; grandchildren Tifanie, Hunter, Samantha, Nicole, Alex, Carrie, Jennifer, Jake, Chad, Kyle, Ben, Sam and Zak; brother William; and numerous great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son, Timothy Homer Manney. A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Desert Springs United Methodist Church, 120 N. Pavilion Center Drive, Las Vegas, NV, followed by a memorial service on Saturday, May 7 at 1:00 PM at the Community Center in Mountain Iron, MN.
