Cornelio Tanael Maralang, age 57, of, Las Vegas died Saturday, September 11, 2010. Neil was born September 15, 1952 in Cavite, Philippines to Aniceto Ferrer and the late Leonida (Tanael) Maralang. Neil grew up in the Philippines and attended the Far Eastern University, earning a BS in Chemical Engineering. He moved to Las Vegas in 1980 and worked for the Good Humor/Breyer Company as a chemist. He loved to sing and take care of others. Neil is survived by his father, Aniceto Maralang; brothers Abelardo (Perseveranda) Maralang, Jovencio (Maritess) Maralang and Joselito (Gloria) Maralang all of Spain; sister Marilyn (Ranel) Alquitran of the Philippines; nieces and nephews Erson, Kresta May, Kristen and Kenrick Maralang, Kimwell and Kester Brian Maralang, Kenrick and Kevin Maralang, Krisha and Karl Alquitran; and many cousins. A visitation will take place beginning at 8:00 PM on Monday, September 13, 2010 at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, #104, Las Vegas, NV 89147. A funeral service with rosary will take place at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 14 at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services.
