Jeanette Levitts Mercado of Las Vegas Nevada passed on July 30th, 2016. She was 69. Born in Las Vegas to Irving and Mary Levitts, Jeanette graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1965. Jeanette is survived by her husband, Vincent Mercado; son Brian Mercado and daughter-in law, Lisa Mercado; daughter, Lori Mercado Klessig; grandchildren Jordan and Jacob Mercado, and Lilly Klessig; her sister Rebecca Metsch; many nieces and nephews; and other family members, all of who adored her. Jeanette loved cooking, especially baking. She opened Jeanette's Gourmet Corner and supplied her famous cheesecakes to local restaurants. She loved arts and crafts, searching for treasures in garage sales, traveling abroad and living in tropical places. She was also active in her McNeil neighborhood and was known to rescue a pet or two! Jeanette was a caring and un-judgemental person. Her love knew no bounds and for this, her family and friends were truly blessed. Please honor Jeanette Mercado with a donation to: Animal Foundation Humane Society, 655 N.
