Donna Jean McGuire

Donna Jean McGuire of Las Vegas, passed away Thursday August 11, 2016. She died in her home surrounded by loved ones. She was 66 years old. She succumbed to a year and a half long battle with cancer. Donna was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and was the second oldest child to Dominic and Patricia Franchina. At the age of two, their family moved to North Hollywood, California where she would start the first part of her wonderful life. She met her husband Patrick S. McGuire at a high school dance and were married six years later. They celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on June 6 of this year. She gave birth to their son Michael in 1983 and lovingly dedicated her life to being a mother and wife. Donna and her family moved to Las Vegas in August 1996 where she would live out her remaining years. She would often be seen at the Suncoast and South Point Casinos and enjoyed when her dear friends from California would visit and gamble together. She was preceded in death by her older sister Christine, her father Dominic and is survived by younger sisters Joni, Maryann, brother Richard, Husband Patrick and Son Michael. We wish to thank all of Donna’s friends, family, Doctors, Nurses and caretakers for their overwhelming help and support. A memorial service will be held 7:00 pm, Friday August 19, at Kraft Sussman Funeral Services 3975 S. Durango Dr. Suite 104 Las Vegas NV. 89147.
