Colton Blackshaw
December 22nd, 2000 - June 27th, 2014
Colton Wayne Blackshaw December 22, 2000 – June 27, 2014 Colton was born in Orlando, Florida to Amanda Blackshaw. He lived his entire life in Titusville and attended Coquina Elementary School. Colton was known for his fiery red hair and sweet smile. As a young boy, Colton enjoyed playing with small army men and trucks. He would spend hours building elaborate forts and creating war strategies. As Colton grew he loved playing video games, specifically X-Box with his big brother/cousin Tyler. He also loved playing X-box with his best buddies Tyler Sauvageau and Lakota Wager. They would spend hours playing video war games and just “hanging-out” like friends do. Colton loved being with friends and family as well as being with his special cat Kiki. He loved Kiki dearly; they two of them shared a special bond. One of Colton’s favorite experiences was spending time in Ocala on Uncle Dwaine and Aunt Debbie’s farm. In addition to being on the farm he loved boating, fishing and watching the manatees in the river. In 2009 Colton accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized with his mother. Colton enjoyed spending time at church and listening to gospel music. Even though Colton’s life was very short on earth we know he is in heaven in the arms of God and his “Nanny Judy” whom he loved and cared for dearly. Colton has a large family and will be deeply missed by all. He is survived by his Mother Amanda Blackshaw of Titusville, Grandfather Walter Blackshaw of Titusville, Uncle Travis Blackshaw of Merritt Island, Great Grandmother Ola Mae Mitchell of Titusville and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by Grandmother Judy Blackshaw, Great Grandfather Walter E. Blackshaw, Great Grandmother Betty Blackshaw and Great Grandfather Kenneth Mitchell.
