Robert Clifton Stillwell

Robert C. Stillwell, 72, formerly of Albany, New York, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2014. Bob is survived by his wife of 29 years, Jayne Roberts Stillwell, and his three sons: Robert, Selkirk, NY; Ben (Traci) Los Angeles, CA; and Brad (Michele) Altamonte Springs, FL.; grandchildren Brittany, Andrea Yawn (Rob), Kyle, Kevin, and Benjamin. He was predeceased by his sister, Patricia Gratton of Albany, NY, his parents, Franklyn and Charlotte Stillwell, Albany; and his sons' mother, Frances Paula Stillwell, Williston, FL. In addition to his trade as conductor (hump conductor) he served in the capacity of Labor/Management Coordinator, EAP Coordinator assistant, and spent many fruitful years working on behalf of his brothers in UTU Local 212 as Local Chairman. Bob also worked in the field of alcohol and drug counseling while studying for his certification in that field. Bob served honorably in the U.S. Army 1960-1968 as a Signal Corpsman, Dial Central Office, in Korea, Germany and Stateside teaching at US Army Signal School at Fort Story in Virginia Beach. Bob most recently has been involved in Security and administration of the Lost Lakes Community in Cocoa, FL, where he and Jayne have resided since 2004. A private Memorial Service will be held at the Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Viera, FL, at the family's convenience. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Space Coast Cancer Foundation or any Hospice organization.
