Karen Jean Jackson, age 56, of North Las Vegas, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017. Karen was born January 16, 1961 in Salem NJ to Anthony and Loretta (Beringer) Scancella. Karen graduated from San Jose State University and worked as an IT analyst for Adobe Systems. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed sports, computer games and traveling. Primarily, she was a devoted mother and wife. Karen is survived by her husband James Jackson of North Las Vegas; son Patrick (Marie) Jackson of San Francisco CA; parents Anthony and Loretta Scancella of Brandywine PA; siblings Susan Morgan, Debra Liney, Diane Spicer, Jim Scancella and Lisa Shea; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 9:30 am on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, Suite 104, Las Vegas NV 89147.
