William "Bill" Edward Timmons
November 22nd, 1937 - August 1st, 2021
William “Bill” Edward Timmons was born on November 22, 1937, in DeSmet, South Dakota to Harlin Henry Timmons and Francis Beulah Timmons. Bill passed away on August 1, 2021, surrounded by his family in Colorado Springs, CO. Bill was preceded in death by both of his parents, brothers; Warren Timmons, Kenneth Timmons, Earl Timmons, Gerald Timmons, Robert Timmons, sisters; LaFern Scholl, Eileen Hein, Luella Hein, Betty Fallon, Helen Montoure and Angela Timmons. Bill is survived by his wife of 52 years, Julie Timmons, brother; Harlin Timmons, sons; Ernie Timmons and his partner Betty Winkler, Eddie Timmons and his wife Norene Timmons, daughter; Michele Reynolds and her husband Ryan Reynolds, granddaughters; Lauren Timmons and her husband Chris Powell, Destiny Timmons, Melody Allen and her husband Remington Allen, Charity Timmons, grandsons; Justice Timmons and Camden Webb, great-granddaughter Grace Timmons and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill grew up in South Dakota and Nebraska. He proudly served his country for 22 years in both the United States Air Force and the United States Navy. After retiring from the military, in addition to retiring from GTE Government Systems, Bill was fortunate enough to resume his love of driving 18-wheelers across the country. Bill will be laid to rest at Pikes Peak National Cemetery in Colorado Springs. He is dearly missed and will always be remembered by his loving family and friends.
